This work is a modern reinterpretation of the Rose of Sharon, created using 3D printing technology. Traditionally, the Rose of Sharon symbolizes "eternity" and "endless vitality," but here, its symbolism is reinterpreted through transparent materials and fluid forms.
The transparent structure, allowing light to pass through, transforms the Rose of Sharon from a fixed image into a fluid object that reveals different expressions depending on time and space. While the familiar flower's form remains intact, the shift in materials and expression offers a new sensory experience. This work explores the potential for the Rose of Sharon's rebirth at the intersection of tradition and technology, symbolism and experimentation.
